Pricing and quotes
How is the price decided? By volume, distance, floors and lifts, packing material, special items and date. Do you give a fixed price? We give a written quote after a survey, with a note on what could change it. Is there a booking advance? A small advance is common, and the balance is paid after unloading. Do you give a bill? Yes. We give an invoice that you can use for reimbursement. For more, see our charges guide.
Packing and handling
Who provides the packing material? We do, and it is included in the quote unless you opt out. Can I pack some items myself? Yes, and we advise on how to pack so that they travel well. How do you protect furniture? With foam, corrugated sheets, blankets and stretch film. What about fragile items? They are wrapped individually and placed in sturdy cartons. Timing and booking
How early should I book? Two to three weeks for most moves, more for month-end and long routes. How long does a local move take? Usually a day. Can you move on a Sunday or a holiday? Often yes, subject to your society’s rules. Can I reschedule? Tell us as early as possible, and we will adjust where we can.
Intercity moves, vehicles and storage
Which cities do you serve? Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Nagpur, Goa, Nashik, Kolhapur, Indore and Surat, among others. See our routes. Can you move my car or bike? Yes, see vehicle transport. Do you offer storage? Yes, for short and long periods, see storage. Is transit insurance available? Optional cover can be arranged, and we explain the terms in writing.
On moving day
Do I need to be present? Yes, or someone you trust. What should I keep with me? Documents, jewellery, cash, medicines and a first-night bag. What if something is damaged?
